Caroline Annandale is an international artist, born in 1983, in Los Angeles, California. Caroline studied Fine Arts at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. In 2012, she earned a Bachelors in Fine Art with a focus on drawing and painting. Currently, Caroline lives and works as a fulltime artist from her Atelier in the German countryside in Heidenrod. Her vibrant acrylic paintings are a reflection of the Architectural landscapes and cultures that surround her when both at home or when traveling abroad. Fundamentally rooted in representational painting, her artwork also includes an expressionistic use of saturated colors to convey emotion. Caroline is drawn to the poetics of how light falls on the side of a building, the emptiness of a small village street, laundry hanging out to dry above the busy crowds of her summer vacation, and the slow and colorful decay of a forgotten ship.

Caroline Annandale is a two-time winner of the National Veteran Creative Arts Competition in the United States and a recipient of funding by the Hessische Kulturstiftung in 2020.
